Adaptive MIDI Scaling

Adaptive MIDI Scaling prevents parameters controlled via MIDI from “jumping” when you grab a hardware knob—letting you make real-time adjustments without any abrupt changes.

When disabled, moving your physical control will cause the assigned Omnisphere parameter to immediately jump to the value sent by the control, sometimes causing undesired sonic results.

When enabled, the value your physical control sends when moved is compared with the value of Omnisphere’s assigned parameter, and a scaled transition is created until they match, avoiding abrupt jumps.
