Turn your audio into swelling, reverb waves! Tapping into the experimental side of reverb design, Inversions combines a reverb, an inverse reverb, and a Flip module that reverses the audio. With mix and length controls for each, you can define the signal path using the Order menu, alternating between evolving swells and pulsing, reversed ambiences. Designed for exploring uncharted spaces, Inversions begs to be discovered.
- MINI-SLIDER
Controls the mix of the dry signal and the processed signal. The number indicated is the amount of the signal that is processed.
Range: 0 ~ 100%
PAGE ONE CONTROLS
- [INVERSE] MIX
This controls how much of the inverted reverb is included in the output signal.
Range: 0.00 ~ 100.00 %
- [INVERSE] TIME
This controls the decay time of the inverted reverb.
Range: 0.10 ~ 3.00 Seconds
- [FLIP] MIX
This controls how much of the original “flipped” signal is sent through the reverbs.
Range: 0.00 ~ 50.00 %
- [FLIP] CAPTURE
This control sets the duration of the captured audio, measured in note values, up to 2 bars.
Range: 16th, 8th, 1/4, 1/2, 1 Bar, 2 Bars
- [VERB] MIX
This controls how much of the forward reverb is included in the output signal.
Range: 0.00 ~ 100.00 %
- [VERB] DECAY
This controls the decay time of the forward reverb.
Range: 0.00 ~ 100.00 %
PAGE TWO CONTROLS
- [FLIP] OVERLAP
OVERLAP gives you more activity in the playback of the reversed audio by controlling how much of the previously recorded audio is blended with the currently reversed audio. At 50%, the overlapping audio will start playing half-way through the CAPTURE time.
Range: 0.00 ~ 50.00 %
- [FLIP] SONG POSITION
Controls whether the buffer section is synced to the bars and beats of the host. When SONG POS is switched ON, the recording syncs to the Song Position of the host and does not reset based on note input. When SONG POS is switched OFF, the buffer section functions in Legato Mode—the recording begins on the first note of a legato passage, and it resets when the CAPTURE time is completed or when you play a note that is not connected to the previous one.
- [TONE] LOW CUT
Controls the frequency cutoff of a highpass filter.
Range: 20 Hz ~ 1.7 kHz
- [TONE] HI CUT
Controls the frequency cutoff of a lowpass filter.
Range: 1.7 kHz ~ 20 kHz
- ORDER
The ORDER menu offers all permutations of the serial signal path for each of the elements.
-I = Inverse reverb
-F = Flipped audio slice
-V = Verb (forward reverb)
- OUTPUT
Adjusts the output level.
Range: – inf dB to +9.54 dB
