Noise can be the secret ingredient that makes a sound come alive. Noisemaker includes over 80 types of noises, including analog tape, hissing gear, vinyl, old devices, interference, and crackles. Filter, compress, and saturate them to your heart’s content until they feel like they’ve always been part of the source!

  • MINI-SLIDER
Controls the balance of the dry signal and the processed signal. The percentage indicates the amount of the signal that is processed.
    Range: 0 ~ 100%

PAGE ONE CONTROLS

  • [NOISE} AMOUNT
Sets the noise level selected in NOISE TYPE.
    Range: –60 dB ~ –6 dB
  • [NOISE} TYPE
This drop-down menu allows you to select from a large library of different background noises, ranging from tape and vinyl noises to film projectors and radio interference.

  • [NOISE] MODE
This menu sets the speed at which the noise will decay after the last note is released, or if the noise will remain ON all the time.

NOTE: While in Slow mode the noise decay uses a fixed curve, in Medium/Fast it is calculated in real-time using an envelope follower.

  • [NOISE} SATURATION
Controls the amount of tube saturation.
    Range: OFF ~ 100%

PAGE TWO CONTROLS

  • [NOISE] LO CUT
Controls the frequency cutoff of a high-pass filter.
    Range: 4 kHz ~ 30 Hz ~ OFF
  • [NOISE] HI CUT
Controls the frequency cutoff of a low-pass filter.
    Range: 17 Hz ~ 17 kHz ~ OFF
  • [NOISE] COMPRESS
    Controls the amount of compression.
    Range: OFF ~ 100%
  • [NOISE] ENHANCE
Mixes in an enhanced version of the signal, simulating a technique used with tape noise reduction units.
    Range: 0 ~ 100%
  • [NOISE] GAIN
    Adjusts the overall output level.
    Range: –15 dB ~ + 5 dB
