When NOTES Mode is selected, Zones are mapped to a MIDI Note range, allowing you to position them anywhere you like across the keyboard. Each of the 128 lines in the grid corresponds to a MIDI Note Number. Any active Zones directly under the played notes will sound.
Quadzone Notes Mode Examples
Explore the following Patches to learn the range of results that using Quadzone in Notes Mode can create:
- The King’s Split – The keyboard is split into two parts: on the left, Layers A and B are layered and programmed to play a pulsing bass, and on the right, Layers C and D are layered and play classic polysynth sound.
- Organic Ensemble Archipelagos – Quadzone splits the keyboard into small sections, each one playing a different Layer.
- Water Heater FX Split – Each of the four Zones the keyboard is split into triggers a different sound effect.
