QUADZONE unlocks a wide range of sound design options by letting you manipulate the Layers in a Patch in a variety of ways. Here are only some of the possibilities:
- Create evolving textures by crossfading between Layers.
- Trigger a different Layer with every new note, round robin-style.
- Assign Layers to different velocity ranges, and trigger each one based on your playing.
- Build sophisticated sequences by switching between Layers while holding a single note.
- Create sophisticated keyboard splits and layering, like Stack Mode, but at the Patch level.
To get started, turn Quadzone ON and access the Quadzone page using the Zoom icon.

Quadzone Overview
Layers can be arranged in Zones in the Quadzone Grid, and Quadzone allows you to interact with them using one of three modes: FADER, NOTES, and VELO.

- FADER: Use a fader to control which Zones in the Quadzone Grid are audible. This modulatable fader at the top of the page “scans” the Zones in the Quadzone Grid, crossfading/switching between Layers.
- NOTES: The grid represents MIDI notes, allowing the Layers to be mapped across the keyboard range.
- VELO: The grid represents MIDI velocities, allowing the Layers to be mapped across the velocity range.
