In Reason, you can set the Omnisphere FX Rack Plug-in to receive MIDI from your MIDIi controller. The procedure is the same whether you are loading Omnisphere FX Rack Plug-in as an insert on an audio or instrument track. For this example, we will use an audio track.

First, select Add Track > Add Audio Track from the channel strip in your session to create an audio track, as shown below:

Then add the Omnisphere FX Rack Plug-in as an insert on the audio track.

In the preferences window for Reason, make sure you have your MIDI controller set up and selected (with the box checked for it) so that you can control Omnisphere FX Rack Plug-in. If you are not seeing your MIDI device, click Auto-detect Surfaces to scan for it, then check the box for it below.

Next, record enable the FX-Omnisphere rack insert on the audio track:

Open the Omnisphere FX Rack Plug-in on your Audio Track. Click on the “Remote” button at the top of the plug-in window and then click on the parameter you want to control with your MIDI controller. Then move the knob, fader, or press the button on your MIDI controller that you would like to control that parameter.
