Save User Tweaks

When you load a Hardware Profile, Omnisphere is instantly set up to perform a large number of sophisticated actions with the touch of a knob. You might be using your hardware synth to instantiate Omnisphere effects, create modulation routings, control multiple scaled parameters, or recall specific filter types. Still, there could be scenarios where you’d want to customize them.

For example, on the Akai APC Key 25 mk2 profile knob 8 controls Glide, but you would prefer it to control the Part Level. There’s an easy solution:

• From the Utility menu, select “Unlearn Next MIDI Device” and move knob 8 on the Akai APC Key 25 mk2. This removes any MIDI Learn assignments for that knob.

• Then, right-click on the Part Level, select MIDI Learn CC, and move knob 8 on the Akai APC Key 25 mk2. Knob 8 should now control Part Level instead of Glide.

• Select “Save User Tweaks” from the Hardware Profile menu—the next time you load the profile, your changes will be retained.

If you ever wish to clear your tweaks and restore the factory default settings for any profile, re-open the HW menu and select “Clear User Tweaks (Restore Factory Defaults).”
