MIDI Learn
In Studio One, you can set the Omnisphere FX Rack plug-in to receive MIDI from your midi controller. The procedure is the same whether you are loading the Omnisphere FX Rack plug-in as an insert on an audio or instrument track. For our example, we will use an audio track.
First, select Add Track > Audio Track from the menu bar to create an audio track, as shown below:

Next, select ‘Browse’ from the bottom right-hand corner of the window.

Then, select “Effects” from your browser on the right-hand side.

Sort the Browser by “Vendor.”

Then select Spectrasonics, and click and drag the “FX-Omnisphere” plug-in onto your desired audio track.

Note: Please use only one type of plug-in file, either VST3 or AU, for all instances of the plug-in you use for your entire session.
Next, select Add Track > Instrument Track from the menu bar to create an Instrument track. Then, you will see an Add Track setup window, as shown below:

Next, set up your Instrument track to receive MIDI from your MIDI keyboard or device by clicking on the “I” in the browser window on the left-hand side and selecting your MIDI keyboard from the “In” drop-down menu:

NOTE: You may need to add your MIDI keyboard or device via the “Configure” menu.
Then, on the channel strip for the Instrument track, in the output routing drop-down, choose “FX-Omnisphere” as the output:

Now open the Omnisphere FX Rack plug-in on your Audio Track. Right-Click on the parameter that you would like to receive MIDI, and select “MIDI CC Learn” (or MIDI Note Learn). Then move the knob, fader, or press the button on your MIDI controller that you would like to control that parameter.
