As you’d imagine, the Swiss Army Delay is the most versatile delay/echo device ever! Capable of a wide variety of delay sounds—from clean ping-pong taps, Bucket-Brigade analog memories to funky tape echoes—it’s truly full of surprises. Featuring three distinct modes (Clean, Warm, Tape), independent delay lines for each channel, LPF/HPF filtering regeneration, Drift, and Ducking, this powerhouse is an essential tool—don’t leave home without it!
- MINI-SLIDER
Controls the balance of the dry signal and the processed signal. The percentage indicates the amount of the signal that is processed.
Range: 0 ~ 100%
PAGE ONE CONTROLS
- [TIME] LEFT / RIGHT
These knobs let you set the times of both delays—either free-timing or synchronized with your host tempo.
Range:
Free—1ms ~ 5 seconds
Sync—1/16-note ~ 2 measures
- SYNC
When engaged, this switch synchronizes the delays to your host tempo.
- FEEDBACK
Controls the number of repeats.
Range: 0 ~ 100%
- DAMPING
This bi-polar knob controls the amount of high or low frequency attenuation added to the feedback loop of the delay, which recreates the natural roll-off that occurs in both analog tape echoes and real acoustic spaces.
Range: High / Low Frequency 0 ~ 100%
- DRIFT
Controls the amount of modulation applied to the delays. Subtle amounts simulate the behavior of tape delay machines, but this feature can also be used in creative ways.
Range: 0 ~ 100%
PAGE TWO CONTROLS
- [TONE] LO CUT
This control lets you tailor the amount of low frequencies in the delays.
Range: 0 ~ 10
- [TONE] HI CUT
This control lets you tailor the amount of high frequencies in the delays.
Range: 0 ~ 10
- COLOR
These switches let you choose the vibe of the delays.- CLEAN: Pristine, uncolored sound.
- WARM: Adds the warmth of tubes.
- TAPE: Simulates the sound of classic tape delays.
- NOISE
Controls the amount of added line noise—simulating classic hardware delays.
Range: 0 ~ 100%
- MODE
Selects the behavior of the delays.
-DUAL: Two independent delay times.
-LINK: Syncs the two delay knobs on PAGE ONE to the same delay time, for a mono effect.
-L/R: Dual mode that bounces the delays Center, Left, Right.
-R/L: Dual mode that bounces the delays Center, Right, Left.
- DUCK
Ducking refers to the process of reducing one audio signal when another one is present. The DUCK knob controls how much the output of the wet signal is reduced when the effect receives signal on its input. With a high DUCK setting, if Swiss Army Delay is producing long delay tails, those tails will be attenuated when you play new notes, creating space in the mix for the new notes to be heard clearly.
Range: 0 ~ 100%
- OUTPUT
Controls the overall output.
Range: –inf dB ~ 9.54 dB
