Every MIDI controller hardware device has nuances in how it sends MIDI messages. Some, like Wind Controllers, can be very sensitive and have fine resolution in the low range, and others have more resolution in higher ranges.

To adjust Omnisphere’s response to incoming MIDI messages, you can use the Rise/Fall controls to slow down the flow of events, avoiding drastic jumps on the modulation destinations these MIDI sources are assigned to in the Modulation Matrix.

• Rise controls the rate of the flow as increasing values are received.
• Fall controls the rate of the flow as decreasing values are received.

Using Aftertouch as an example, use Rise to fine-tune Omnisphere’s response as you gradually add pressure to a note and Fall as you gradually release it.
