Tube Saturator

Inject authentic tube character to any sound! Warm up your sounds with three saturation modes, each with their own vibe. Use Drive and Bias to add harmonics and control how much the signal breaks up, and use the the Mix and Lo Cut / Hi Cut controls to shape it further. From subtle coloration to pronounced harmonic distortion, this is a must-have in your sonic arsenal.

• MINI-SLIDER
  Controls the mix of the dry signal and the processed signal. The percentage indicated is the amount of the signal that is processed.
  Range: 0 ~ 100%

CONTROLS

• DRIVE

  Adjusts the gain added to the input signal.
  Range: –12 dB to +18 dB

• BIAS

  Models the addition of AC Bias, which alters the tone and character of the saturation. High values cause significant gain attenuation, which can be compensated for using the DRIVE and OUTPUT controls.
  Range: 1 ~ 11

• TUBE

  Selects the type of tube that is modeled:
  -Triode for warmer tones.
  -Pentode for more aggressive tones.
  -Special for higher octave harmonics.

• LO CUT
  
Controls the highpass filter cutoff frequency.
  Range: 30 Hz ~ 4 kHz

• HI CUT
  Controls the lowpass filter cutoff frequency.
  Range: 6.5 kHz ~ 20 kHz

• OUTPUT
  
Adjusts the output level.
  Range: –15 dB to +15 dB
