Velo Mode

VELO Mode lets you control which Layers will be triggered using Velocity. In VELO Mode, the width of the grid represents MIDI Velocity values 1-128. Layers are triggered based on the placement of Zones in the Grid and the velocity of the incoming MIDI messages. The incoming MIDI Velocity values are displayed as vertical turquoise bars above the numbers.

• *Water Heater Wonk Velo*—Use velocity to trigger different metallic sound effects.
• *Counterfeit Clav*—Velocity triggers pulse waveforms with different widths: the harder you play, the thinner the pulse.
• *Adagio String Symphony*—At higher velocities, the level of Layers A and B is decreased while Layer D is added.
• *Modular Grid Groove*—The velocity from the Arpeggiator’s pattern controls which Layers are triggered.
