Modeled after the Neve 1084® Preamp/EQ, inject classic British vibes into your audio. With circuit-modeling of each component, it adds the same saturation and harmonics as the hardware, and extends the original’s capabilities with continuous frequency selection (as opposed to preset frequencies) and a second MID band, giving you precise control over the British Neve® vibes.

PAGE ONE CONTROLS [GAINS]

  • INPUT
Controls the input gain. At higher settings, harmonics are introduced by non-linear components of the model.
Range: –12 dB to +12 dB
  • MIC PRE ON/OFF
Adds color, even without EQ. When engaged, the INPUT models the analog character of the mic-pre transformer.

  • LO
Adjusts the gain for the LO FREQ control on Page 2.
    Range: –16 dB ~ +16 dB
  • MID [1]

Adjusts the gain for the first MID FREQ control on Page 2.
    Range: –16 dB ~ +16 dB
  • MID [2]
Adjusts the gain for the second MID FREQ control on Page 2.
    Range: –16 dB ~ +16 dB
  • HI
Adjusts the gain for the HI FREQ control on Page 2.
    Range: –16 dB ~ +16 dB
  • OUTPUT
    Adjusts the output level.
    Range: –16 dB ~ +16 dB

PAGE TWO CONTROLS [FREQS]

  • [FILTER] HPF
Controls the frequency cutoff of a highpass filter.
    Range: 45 Hz ~ 360 Hz
  • [FILTER] LPF
Controls the frequency cutoff of a lowpass filter.
    Range: 6 kHz ~ 18 kHz
  • LO FREQ

Sets the shelved frequency that is reduced or increased by the LO gain control on Page 1.
    Range: 35 Hz ~ 220 Hz
  • MID FREQ [1]
Sets the frequency that is reduced or increased by the first MID gain control on Page 1.
    Range: 350 Hz ~ 7.2 kHz
  • MID FREQ [2]
Sets the frequency that is reduced or increased by the second MID gain control on Page 1.

    Range: 350 Hz ~ 7.2 kHz
  • HI FREQ
Sets the shelved frequency that is reduced or increased by the HI gain control on Page 1.
    Range: 10 kHz ~ 16 kHz

NOTE: The 1084 had fixed frequency choices, but here they are sweepable, with the original detents labeled.

  • ULTRA / HQ
Engages internal oversampling for the effect when ULTRA is selected.
