The Quadzone Grid is made up of four horizontal rows. Each row corresponds to a Layer, and is divided by 128 lines that represent MIDI values.
The Quadzone page will highlight the Layers that are active in a Patch, and show the name of the Wavetable/Soundsource loaded in each. The example below shows an initialized Patch with the default Synth waves, Layer A ON (row A active), and rows B, C, and D disabled. To enable or disable Layers, double-click anywhere on the row or use the LEDs under the Layer tabs.

NOTE: Rows must always have at least one Zone. If you don’t want to use a Layer, disable it by double-clicking on that Layer’s row.
Re-sizing, Moving, and Fading Zones
Re-sizing

Click and drag the lower right or lower left corner of a Zone to increase or decrease its width. If two Zones are on the same row, re-sizing will only change the width of the selected Zone.
Moving Zones

To move a Zone, click inside the Zone and drag horizontally. You can only drag Zones horizontally (not vertically between rows).
Fades

To add a Fade to a Zone, select the upper-right or upper-left corner of the Zone and drag the corner inward. The further the corner is dragged, the more gradual the ramp and the longer the Fade will be. You can shorten or remove a Fade by dragging the upper corner outward. Editing these Fades works in the same fashion as the Zones in Stack Mode.
Using Multiple Zones in a row
At times, you might want to have separate, non-contiguous Zones in a row. For example, you might want to create intricate splits between layers, like in the patch “Whispertone Ensemble.” To add a Zone to a row, right-click where you want the Zone to appear. You can have up to 4 Zones per row.

Removing Zones
There will always be at least one Zone in a row, but if you have more than one and want to remove any of them, right-click on the one you want to remove and select “Remove Zone.”
