The UB-Xa is Behringer’s attempt at recreating the Oberheim OB-Xa, a classic synth from the ‘80s. The polyphonic aftertouch keyboard feels better than earlier Behringer models, and combined with its big, spacious panel, makes it a satisfying controller for Omnisphere. Additionally, for a bi-timbral, 16-voice analog synth with an Oberheim vibe, it is reasonably priced.

Behringer UB-Xa Strengths:

  • Good Build Quality
  • Spacious Panel
  • Polyphonic Aftertouch
  • Reasonably Priced
