A recreation of the classic PPG Wave 2.2 and 2.3, the Behringer wave combines classic digital sounds with an analog signal path. The build quality is solid, and the simple layout gives you basic control over Omnisphere, with access to envelopes, filter, and hard-wired modulations to pitch and waveform shape. Unfortunately, Behringer chose to keep the deeper functions buried in an unintuitive UI, accessible under cryptic menu diving. Faithful to the original!

Behringer Wave Strengths:

  • Classic Wavetable Sound
  • Simple Panel Layout
  • Reasonably Priced
