The Korg Monologue is a budget analog synth is ideal for users with a small footprint studio or those who want something light and portable. They look simple but they have enough features to make cool sounds and they even have a Cross Mod Depth control. Mini keys and no sustain pedal input are certainly limitations, but they’re able to have more octaves in a smaller footprint. At the moment there are a few downsides — the Voice Modes and the Arpeggiator don’t send MIDI — but overall they are still good Omnisphere controllers and a lot of fun to use!
Korg Monologue Strengths:
- Small and Portable
- Easy to use
- Surprisingly Capable
- Nice Budget Analog Synth
