The Clavia Nord Stage 3, as its name implies, is a great instrument for live use. The HW profile uses the synth section to control Omnisphere. Like the Nord Lead A1, at first it might seem like the synth section doesn’t have many features, but it can actually do quite a few things, including control of Hard Sync, FM, Ring Mod, and multiple Filter types. One of its strengths is the FX section — you have a lot of control over many of Omnisphere’s FX. This synth is on the expensive side, but because it’s so capable with its dedicated synth, organ, and piano section, it’s very popular among live performers.
