The Oberheim OB-X8 is a polyphonic analog synthesizer that combines the primary features of the legendary OB-X, OB-Xa, and OB-8, including individual filter types for each. It truly delivers on the warm and full Oberheim sound. The panel is large and intuitively laid out, and combining that with a Fatar keyboard, makes controlling Omnisphere a great experience. Available in keyboard and desktop versions, it’s on the expensive side, but you get a premium, classic analog synth.

Oberheim OB-X8 Strengths:

  • Classic Oberheim Sound
  • Great Build Quality
  • Intuitive Panel
