TROUBLESHOOTING

Not working? Here are some things to try:

  • Is your DAW receiving MIDI from the APC Key 25 mk2?
  • Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the APC Key 25 mk2 to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired part in Omnisphere.
  • Are you using the APC Key 25 mk2 as a “Control Surface” for Ableton Live? If so, you’ll need to change the knobs on the APC Key 25 to “Device” mode so that the knobs can connect to Omnisphere. You can do so by holding down the [SHIFT] button and then press the [Device] button. If you’re still unable to control Omnisphere, you may need to disable the APC Key 25 mk2 as a “Control Surface” in Ableton Live’s “Preferences > Link/MIDI” settings page.
  • If you are using the Omnisphere standalone host, make sure the MIDI output channel of the APC Key 25 mk2 matches the MIDI channel of the Omnisphere Part you want to control.
