TROUBLESHOOTING
Not working? Here are some things to try:
- -Is your DAW receiving MIDI from the APC40 mk1?
- -Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the APC40 mk1 to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired part in Omnisphere.
- Are using the APC40 mk1 as a “Control Surface” for Ableton Live? If so, you’ll need to make sure Omnisphere is in focus of the APC40 mk1 by making sure Ableton Live’s little “Blue Hand” on Omnisphere’s Ableton Live Device Module—this allows MIDI from the Device Knobs on the APC40 mk1 to be passed through to Omnisphere. If you’re still unable to control Omnisphere, you may need to disable the APC40 mk1 as a “Control Surface” in Ableton Live’s “Preferences > Link/MIDI” settings page.
