
When using the Novation FL Key 61 to control Omnisphere, the knobs and sliders on the FL Key 61 are assigned to the following Omnisphere parameters:

- Knob 6 (CC#26) – Global Controls Ambience Length
- Knob 7 (CC#27) – Global Controls Unison
- Knob 8 (CC#28) – Global Controls Glide
- Slider 1 (CC#71) – Global Controls Amp Envelope Attack
- Slider 2 (CC#72) – Global Controls Amp Envelope Decay
- Slider 3 (CC#73) – Global Controls Amp Envelope Sustain
- Slider 4 (CC#74) – Global Controls Amp Envelope Release

Setup
To control Omnisphere using the FL Key 61, you’ll need to do the following:
- Connect the FL Key 61 to your computer via USB.
- Set up the FL Key 61 to control Omnisphere.
- Enable the FL Key 61 as a MIDI input device in the host software you’re using (DAW, Standalone, etc.).
- Activate the FL Key 61 Hardware Profile in Omnisphere 3.0 or later.
FL Key 61 SETUP
Omnisphere relies on the factory default settings of the “Custom Pot Mode 1” and “Custom Fader Mode 1” on the FL Key 61 for external control.
- Activate Custom Pot Mode 1 by holding the [SHIFT] button and then press the drum pad labeled “Custom” on the top row of pads (directly underneath Pots).
- Activate Custom Fader Mode 1 by holding the [SHIFT] button and then press the “Custom” button directly underneath Faders.
HOST CONNECTION
- Open your host (DAW, Standalone, etc.) and make sure the FL Key 61 is enabled as a MIDI input device.
OMNISPHERE SETUP
- Open Omnisphere and from the header, select the HW menu button.
- From the drop-down menu, select “Novation > Novation FL Key 61” to activate the FL Key 61 hardware profile.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Not working? Here are some things to try:
- Is your DAW receiving MIDI from the FL Key 61?
- Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the FL Key 61 to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired part in Omnisphere.
- If you are using the Omnisphere standalone host, make sure the MIDI output channel of the FL Key 61 matches the MIDI channel of the Omnisphere Part you want to control.
- Are the knobs on the FL Key 61 sending the correct MIDI CC messages to control Omnisphere? See the list at the top of the page for the correct MIDI CC numbers.
