
Setup
To control Omnisphere using the Novation K-Station, you’ll need to do the following:
- Using a USB cable, connect the K-Station to your computer.
- Enable “K-Station” as a MIDI input device to Omnisphere in the host software you’re using (DAW, Standalone, etc.).
- Activate the K-Station Hardware Profile in Omnisphere 3 or later.
HOST CONNECTION
Open your host (DAW, Standalone, etc.) and make sure the K-Station is enabled as a MIDI input device.

OMNISPHERE SETUP
Open Omnisphere and from the header, select the HW menu button:

From the drop-down menu, select “Novation>Novation K-Station” to activate that Hardware Profile.

Profile Notes
The LFO1 DEPTH and LFO1 SPEED in the K-Station are assigned to Global Vibrato Depth and Rate in Omnisphere. The LFO1 DELAY knob and LFO1 WAVEFORM button are not supported.
Unassigned Controls
The following K-Station controls have no effect on Omnisphere:
- Page/Program buttons
- Program
- Menus
- Compare
- Write
- LFO1 Delay
- Filter Key Track
Troubleshooting
Not working? Here are some things to try:
- Make sure the MIDI Channel is set to Ch.1.
- If you are using the Omnisphere standalone host, make sure the MIDI output channel of the K-Station matches the MIDI channel of the Omnisphere part you want to control.
- Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the K-Station to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired Part in Omnisphere.
