
When using the Novation Launchkey 61 mk2 to control Omnisphere, the knobs, faders, and buttons on the Launchkey 61 mk2 are assigned to the following Omnisphere parameters:

Setup
To control Omnisphere using the Launchkey 61 mk2, you’ll need to do the following:
- Connect the Launchkey 61 mk2 to your computer via USB.
- Set up the Launchkey 61 mk2 to control Omnisphere.
- Enable the Launchkey 61 mk2 as a MIDI input device in the host software you’re using (DAW, Standalone, etc.).
- Activate the Launchkey 61 mk2 Hardware Profile in Omnisphere 3 or later.
LAUNCHKEY 61 mk2 SETUP
Omnisphere relies on the the Launchkey 61 mk2 to be in “Basic MIDI Mode” for external control.
- To set this up, simply press and release the “InControl” buttons located on the LaunchKey to the left of the Knobs and Pads.
- You’re in Basic MIDI Mode when the LED light for this button is OFF.
HOST CONNECTION
- Open your host (DAW, Standalone, etc.) and make sure the Launchkey 61 mk2 is enabled as a MIDI input device.
OMNISPHERE SETUP
- Open Omnisphere and from the header, select the HW menu button.
- From the drop-down menu, select “Novation > Novation Launchkey 61 mk2” to activate the Launchkey 61 mk2 hardware profile.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Not working? Here are some things to try:
- Is your DAW receiving MIDI from the Launchkey 61 mk2?
- Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the Launchkey 61 mk2 to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired part in Omnisphere.
- If you are using the Omnisphere standalone host, make sure the MIDI output channel of the Launchkey 61 mk2 matches the MIDI channel of the Omnisphere Part you want to control.
