When using the Acorn Instruments Masterkey 25 to control Omnisphere, the knobs on the Masterkey 25 are assigned to the following Omnisphere parameters:
- Knob 1 (CC#74) – Global Controls Cutoff
- Knob 2 (CC#71) – Global Controls Ambience Amount
- Knob 3 (CC#73) – Global Controls Vibrato Depth
- Knob 4 (CC#72) – Global Controls Glide

- Activate the Masterkey 25 Hardware Profile in Omnisphere 3 or later.

- From the drop-down menu, select “Acorn Instruments > Acorn Instruments Masterkey 25” to activate the Masterkey 25 hardware profile.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Not working? Here are some things to try:
- Is your DAW receiving MIDI from the Masterkey 25?
- Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the Masterkey 25 to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired part in Omnisphere.
- If you are using the Omnisphere standalone host, make sure the MIDI output channel of the Masterkey 25 matches the MIDI channel of the Omnisphere Part you want to control.
- Are the knobs on the Masterkey 25 sending the correct MIDI CC messages to control Omnisphere? A simple way to check this is by recording knob movement in your DAW.
NOTE: If you need to change the MIDI CC#s of the knobs on the Masterkey 25, you can do so from the Masterkey 25 (for steps, please review the Masterkey user manual). An alternative is to factory reset the Masterkey 25. However, doing so will erase all user-saved data. If you’d like to continue with the reset, please turn OFF the Masterkey 25, then hold down on the [OCTAVE UP] and [OCTAVE DOWN] buttons while turning ON the Masterkey 25 and release the Octave buttons once you see the display light up with “888”. This will clear any user saved settings and return the knobs back to their default factory settings.
