Setup

To control Omnisphere using the Behringer Pro-800, you’ll need to do the following:

  • Connect the Pro-800 to your computer via USB.
  • Enable the Pro-800 as a MIDI input device in the host software you’re using (DAW, Standalone, etc.).
  • Activate the Pro-800 Hardware Profile in Omnisphere 3 or later.

HOST CONNECTION

Open your host (DAW, Standalone, etc.) and make sure the MIDI interface to which you’ve connected the Pro-800 is enabled as a MIDI input device.

Omnisphere Standalone Pro Tools

OMNISPHERE SETUP

Open Omnisphere and from the header, select the HW menu button:

From the drop-down menu, select Behringer>Behringer Pro-800” to activate that hardware profile.

Unassigned Controls

The following Pro-800 controls have no effect on Omnisphere:

  • Settings
  • Tune
  • Sync Source
  • Sync Clock
  • Rec
  • Seq 1
  • Seq 2
  • Arp Up-On
  • Arp Assign
  • Value
  • Master Tune

Troubleshooting

Not working? Here are some things to try:

  • Is your DAW receiving MIDI from the Pro-800?
  • If you are using the Omnisphere standalone host, make sure the MIDI output channel of the Pro-800 matches the MIDI channel of the Omnisphere part you want to control.
  • Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the Pro-800 to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired Part in Omnisphere.
