Setting up the SFC-60

Setup

To control Omnisphere using the Soundforce SFC-60, you’ll need to do the following:

  • Connect the SFC-60 to your computer via USB.
  • Set up the front panel to send the appropriate MIDI CC messages.
  • Activate the SFC-60 Hardware Profile in Omnisphere 3 or later.

MIDI OUTPUT SETUP

  • Make sure your SFC-60 is using the Factory configuration.

HOST CONNECTION

Open your host (DAW, Standalone, etc.) and make sure the Soundforce SFC-60 is enabled as a MIDI input device.

OMNISPHERE SETUP

Open Omnisphere and from the header, select the HW menu button:

From the drop-down menu, select “Soundforce>Soundforce SFC-60” to activate that hardware profile.


Troubleshooting

Not working? Here are some things to try:

  • Is your host receiving MIDI from the SFC-60?
  • Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the SFC-60 to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired Part in Omnisphere.
