Troubleshooting
Not working? Here are some things to try:
- Is your DAW receiving MIDI from the Virus?
- If you are using the Omnisphere standalone host, make sure the MIDI output channel of the Virus matches the MIDI channel of the Omnisphere part you want to control.
- Make sure your DAW is configured to correctly route the MIDI output of the Virus to the MIDI channel assigned to the desired Part in Omnisphere.
- Is the front panel of the Virus properly set up to send CCs?
As a last resort, you can reset all Global parameters to the factory defaults by doing the following (NOTE: Pressing the SINGLE button during this process will erase your custom presets):
- Turn the unit’s power OFF.
- Hold down both of the LFO SHAPE 1 and LFO SHAPE 2 buttons while powering the unit ON.
- Once the unit powers on, you will be given the option to erase or keep your custom presets.
- To keep your presets intact but reset Global parameters only, press any button other than SINGLE for each prompt that appears.
