The Alesis Andromeda is a great polyphonic analog synth. It gives you a lot of control over Omnisphere: Dual-filter architecture and a Post-Filter section that allows you to tweak the sound further. In each of the Oscillators you can have all the waveforms ON simultaneously and it has tons of modulation capabilities. The build quality is great, the keyboard and controls feel really good, and it also has a pretty cool ribbon controller. It is discontinued and is somewhat expensive on the used market, but if you are looking for a lot of control over Omnisphere and also a great analog polysynth, this is a good choice.

Alesis Andromeda A6 Strengths:

  • Dual Filter Architecture
