If you’re into the classic string machine sounds from the ’70s, this is a great controller for Omnisphere! Omnisphere can do those vintage sounds really well, and this gives you control over the mix of the elements, the Ensemble FX, Envelopes, and tone controls. It’s small, USB-powered and has a cool vocoder. Unfortunately, the prices on the used market are high, but if you already have one, make sure you try it with Omnisphere.

Roland VP-03 Strengths:

  • Built-in Vocoder
  • Ultra-Portable
  • USB-powered
  • Low Price
  • Authentic VP-330 vibe!
