Kit Mode Settings

Kit Mode has three different MIDI Modes. These Mode options are different than the ones available in Multi Mode. This allows for maximum flexibility when working with incoming MIDI. They are:

KIT CHANNEL 1-8

Each Part responds to a different MIDI Channel.

  • Part 1 = MIDI channel 1
  • Part 2 = MIDI channel 2
  • Part 3 = MIDI channel 3
  • Part 4 = MIDI channel 4
  • Part 5 = MIDI channel 5
  • Part 6 = MIDI channel 6
  • Part 7 = MIDI channel 7
  • Part 8 = MIDI channel 8

KIT CHANNEL 1

All 8 Parts respond to incoming MIDI Channel 1.

KIT CHANNEL 10

All 8 Parts respond to incoming MIDI Ch10. This accommodates General MIDI sequences that default to transmitting percussion on Ch10.

NOTE: There are no Trigger Mode options in Kit Mode because RMX always responds immediately to any note commands.
