Valve Radio

The VALVE RADIO FX unit is a unique device, which functions equally well as both a dual filter and a distortion device. The combination of these two effects can product many types of vintage radio and telephone speaker simulation effects. This unit also includes a simple noise gate on Page 2.

MINI-SLIDER
Controls the mix of the dry signal and the processed (Wet) signal. The percentage indicated is the amount of the signal that is Wet.
Range: 0 ~ 100%

PAGE ONE CONTROLS

• LOPASS
  Controls the frequency cutoff of the Low Pass filter.
  Range: 100 ~ 22000 Hz

• HIPASS
  Controls the frequency cutoff of the High Pass filter.
  Range: 20 ~ 10000 Hz

• Q
  Controls the Resonance or “Q” of the two filters, which emphasizes the cutoff frequencies.
  Range: .5 ~ 3.0

• DRIVE
  Increases the amount of overdrive distortion gain.
  Range: 0 ~ 100%

PAGE TWO CONTROLS

• GATE
  Sets the audio level at which the threshold for the Gate starts to open.
  Range: 0 ~ 35 dB

• ATTACK
  Adjusts the speed at which the gate opens.
  Range: 1 ms ~ 400 ms

• RELEASE
  Adjusts the speed at which the gate closes.
  50 ~ 4000ms

• GAIN
  Adjusts the overall output.
  Range: 0.00 ~ 3.50 dB
