Bypassing an FX Unit

It can be useful to audition sounds and Patches by bypassing one or more of the FX units. When an FX unit is bypassed it is removed from the audio chain, allowing you to hear how any particular effect (or group of effects) is changing the sound.

An FX Unit is active when the oval FX Name Window is highlighted in yellow.

To Bypass an FX Unit, click the oval FX Name Window. The Name wWndow darkens when bypassed.

Clicking the window again will reactivate the FX Unit.

NOTE: Bypassing an Effect DOES save CPU power..
