Damper

The DAMPER section is located on the TWEAK page, which is present in all LA Custom C7 Patches.

Traditionally, acoustic pianos leave the top octave and a half undamped. The fact is, the notes that don’t have dampers simply don’t need them – they are not able to sustain long enough to necessitate dampers.

The LA Custom C7 has no dampers above F6 and we have maintained the authentic function of this fine instrument.

If you wish to adjust this, the “No Damper Above” menu lets you set the top note that uses a damper. All notes above the selected note will be undamped.

*You can also select OFF to leave the dampers on every note.
