Kit Suites and Modules

Building a Kit from scratch begins with the Browser Page.

Kit Suites are directories that contain different categories of sounds which are called Kit Modules. There are 8 categories of Kit Suites and Modules:

• CLAPS
• CYMBALS
• HI HATS
• KICKS
• RIDES
• SNARES
• STICKS
• TOMS

In most cases, there are multiple Suites designated to a category of drum sound. Sounds with similar qualities are grouped together in these Suites for quick access. For instance, there are 21 Suites of Kick Drums. Each Kick Drum Suite contains a set of Kick sounds that share some similarities; for example KICKS-Aggressive or KICKS-Deep.

Kit Suites contain Kit Modules that are found in the Elements portion of the Browser Page. A Kit Module contains the drum hit samples. Selecting a Kit Module loads it into the active Part.
