The Nord Lead 1 is a classic virtual analog synth from the mid-‘90s. The panel is clear and easy-to-understand. In addition to controlling two LFOs and three Envelopes, you can control Omnisphere’s FM — a welcome feature to an oscillator section that’s relatively simple. It’s great for all types of users, but especially for live performers since they’re light and easily moved, and the layout is easy-to-use. This is a great synth and you can find it on the used market for a good price.
