The Sequential Prophet X is a top-of-the-line synth with controls over Omnisphere’s four Layers — two of them sample-based and two of them synth-based. This makes it easy to create the unique kinds of hybrid sounds at which Omnisphere shines. Using the Prophet X’s panel, you can browse Soundsources, access the Granular page to transform your own samples, add FX, add a synth Layer, and modulate parameters on-he-fly. It’s on the expensive side, but it is a truly great, professional controller for Omnisphere and a great choice for serious sound designers.
